Pakistan vs New Zealand 2nd T20 Preview – 5th Dec

Pakistan took the opening Twenty20 match in style with a fantastic allround performance thanks largely to Sarfraz Akmal who contributed with the bat and the fast bowling trio. New Zealand will be disappointed with how they batted after they lost early wickets in quick succession which restricted the freedom of their lower order players.

With McCullum rested from the remainder of the tour, Ross Taylor will have to step up his game to provide stability in that top order which will allow their huge hitters like Anderson and Ronchi the chance to go hard. You can hardly fault Pakistan’s performance in the opening fixture apart from perhaps being too cautious with their batting approach but they will be confident they can win this series.
